So do you really think Anderson Cooper would stop by his friend Diane von Furstenberg’s show if it was 3pm Tuesday afternoon?… not. Well, he pretty much always shows up now that she has been showing Sundays, joined by her husband Barry Diller, Sarah Jessica Parker and Rachael Bilson. But the real news is that this is the first collection where Diane is pairing up with a designer she pulled from Gucci who has tweaked the Diva of Draping, Bold and Wrapped with refined touches. There is a mix of unlikely color reminiscent of Yves St. Laurent, which would mix yellow and sky blue and coral with violet. Check out the video and see for yourself. Bravo, Diane!

SAVE YOURSELF!
Ladies, it’s time to put your money where your mouth is. It’s no secret that these are trying economic times, but now is not the time to be paralyzed with fear. It’s the time for action! Sadly, statistics show that while many women are worried about their finances and even go the extra step of doing the research to make changes, far too many of you are not actually DOING anything about it. I know what you’re thinking…we’re in a recession. How can I think about saving? Let me tell you what I found. I just saved a bundle by re-financing a mortgage with one of Merrill Lynch’s LIBOR-based Adjustable-Rate Mortgages. And I’ve also found that Emigrant Savings Bank has some great municipal funds right now. No matter what your goal, there is something out there to help your situation. I even found an insurance company called Personal Risk Management Solutions that reduced all my policies by 30% AND got me credits I hadn’t received on last year’s policies! The important thing to do is to really clarify what your intentions are. Author Stacy Tisdale has some great ideas to get you started. Once you get specific, it’s time to get some help. And no, that doesn’t mean buying up stock because your co-worker’s cousin’s friend has a hot tip! Align yourself with a good financial advisor to get the ball rolling, and get moving. Before you know it, you’ll be breathing a little easier knowing your nest egg is a bit safer than it was yesterday.
